10 Walks of Burke Park

Now that the build portion is ready for you all to enjoy, here are some things you might investigate at Burke Park. The class has spent the last month on a side project called the 10 Walks of Burke Park. We have assembled an interpretive informational portfolio on the history, ecology, geology, birds, and trees at the park, as well as some personal stories from some of Burke Park’s users and neighbors.

Also, be sure to listen to the personal stories. Ralph Burke, the son of Admiral Arleigh Burke, speaks about the site’s history as a farm. It is a wonderful insight into years past.
